I've been playing rugby since the age of 6. I have played at many levels and experienced a wide varity of styles and players, but the one thing that remains is that Rugby Football Union is the greatest game on the planet. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| I feel that everyone on the pitch should try someting that they think will work, be it a prop having a go at a drop goal or a back taking some contact for a change, no-one should be worried about what people will think or say. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

In the icy gloom of windswept nights, they gather, pitting themsleves against one another in a raw physical contest where hearts defeat head, where bravery bilittles brawn. They take the field in the knowledge that there is no hiding place, no simple option, no technical solution. They have volunteered for the ultimate team game, the ultimate examination of self.
